Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Baton platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Baton is a collaborative software delivery platform that orchestrates AI-assisted software delivery with human governance. The Service includes the web application, API, and related tools.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. We will not access your data except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law. AI interaction audit logs are stored within your organization's workspace.

When using BYOL, your model API keys and interactions are processed through Baton's orchestration layer. We do not store your API keys in plaintext. Model interactions for BYOL customers remain within the customer's configured infrastructure.

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with the Service's operation, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.

Baton and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Baton and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baton shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice.

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
